HOW TO OFFER A BIG PROBLEMS COURSE
Faculty members who teach in the College are invited to propose a Big Problems course. Please see the Call for Course Proposals, which includes a form for you to submit for a grant for curricular development (below).
Usually course proposals are developed, in collaboration with the Big Problems co-directors, Professors John Kelly and Laurens Mets, during the fall and winter quarters before the year in which the course will be offered. You’re also welcome to propose a course at other times throughout the year.
For more information, please contact Margot Browning, Executive Director, by emailing mb31@uchicago.edu or calling 773-702-5657.
