APPLY TO THE FRANKE

The Franke Institute fosters innovative humanistic scholarship and its dissemination both within the academy and for the public at large. We define the humanities inclusively, ministering to scholars, thinkers, and artists whose work engages the traditional concerns of the humanistic disciplines, chiefly in the Division of the Humanities but across the entire University as well.

The Franke Institute supports individual research through its residential fellowship program and nurtures collaborative initiatives by funding and hosting conferences and other academic events, and through the Center for Disciplinary Innovation.
